Jeremy D. Franklin earned his PhD from the University of Utah studying the sociology of higher education in the Department of Education, Culture, and Society. His research research interests include racial battle fatigue, racial microaggressions,  issues of campus climate, higher education policy, and racial stratification in post-secondary settings.
